Hutchinson Community Foundation - Animal Welfare*

Mission

Inspire philanthropy, leadership, and collaboration to strengthen Reno County.

Profile

The Animal Welfare Endowed Field of Interest Fund was created in 2015 by a group of community leaders concerned about the growing inability of our community to provide sufficient charitable resources to care for animals. As the endowed fund grows, grants will be made to nonprofit organizations supporting: the health and welfare of all animals in Reno County; the control of the population of animals; the training of animals for use in aiding people with disabilities and assisting in both crime prevention and search and rescue; and activities that strengthen an animal welfare organization and improve its overall operations.

To make a planned gift to the Animal Welfare Endowment in your will or trust, please contact Aubrey@hutchcf.org or your own estate planning attorney. Hutchinson Community Foundation provides free, in-house estate planning consultation. If you'd like to make a charitable gift to your community at the end of your life, our estate planning attorney will help you design your estate plan to include charitable gifts in either an existing will or trust or in a new plan.
