Wesley Towers, Inc.

Goal: $10,000.00

Specific Need

It is the generosity of those with a vision that enables Wesley Towers to maintain its fine tradition of service and caring.

Giving has built and sustained Wesley Towers ... and will shape its future.

At Wesley Towers, we were one of the organizations in Reno County to have been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in early March due to our extremely vulnerable resident population. On March 11th, by the direction of President Trump, we immediately ceased all outside visitation onto our campus. Not allowing visitors has severely hampered our marketing efforts. Federal and state orders banning elective surgeries has all but halted our rehabilitation program.

The senior care industry has been barraged with new and expensive regulations almost daily since the crisis began. New requirements for reporting and tracking illnesses, constant monitoring of health authorities and regulatory agencies, and implementing a myriad of new policies have been exhausting and very expensive. Time spent chasing every lead for acquiring personal protective equipment and coordinating efforts of volunteers is also substantial and expensive. Finally, planning for the many scenarios and possibilities associated with an outbreak is nearly completely consuming for the management team.

Any monies received would be put directly into use of funding additional resources for our staff to utilize while serving our seniors. Even with the payroll protection loans, the lack of revenue and increased expenses are straining our resources to keep pace with daily operations. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Mission

At Wesley Towers, we are committed to providing a total environment for retired persons which recognizes and attempts to meet our residents' unique physical, social and spiritual requirements. We endorse The Golden Rule in that we will treat every individual with the utmost respect at all times, just as we would like to be treated.
