Strengthening non-profit and governmental organizations in Reno County by recruiting, referring and supporting volunteers for the betterment of the community.

Profile

Volunteers enhance the services provided by non-profit organizations. Last year, The Volunteer Center matched 1,050 volunteers (groups and individuals) with volunteer opportunities at 98 non-profit and governmental organizations in Reno County. These volunteers contributed 84,888 hours of service.

The Volunteer Center is home to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and the Volunteer Action Corps (VAC). People of all ages can use The Volunteer Center to find individual and group volunteer opportunities.
